De hoofdrolspelers zijn Rex Hofman en Saskia Ehlvest. Saskia is een jonge vrouw van 24 jaar. Ze heeft een roodharige kapsel. Saskia heeft een relatie met Rex. Zij heeft een rare droom dat ze in het universum vliegt in een gouden ei. Ze kan alleen maar uit dat gouden ei geraken als ze botst met een ander gouden ei. Rex is de vriend van Saskia hij is 41 jaar. Hij gaat opzoek wat er met Saskia is gebeurd.
Het boek het gouden ei start in Frankrijk waar Rex en Saskia een wandeling maken naar hun vakantiehuisje. Door deze start wordt je zowaar in het verhaal getrokken. Er wordt een plaats gebruikt waardoor je je kunt oriënteren. Dit vind ik uitermate belangrijk want hierdoor kan je je meer inleven in waar en hoe het zicht afspeelt. Een ander belangrijk personage is Raymond de ontvoerder en moordenaar van Saskia. In het begin is het nog niet duidelijk wie de ontvoerder is maar naarmate het verhaal verloopt kun je alle stukjes aan elkaar lijmen.De schrijfstijl en moeilijkheidsgraad is onder het gemiddelde. Het is een kort boek van 98 bladzijden. De schrijver heeft het verhaal met heel veel beschrijvingen van omgevingen aangekleed. Sommige hiervan waren dan ook overbodig. Want de beschrijvingen gingen soms zo in detail waardoor ik het een vrij raar boek vond. Ik denk de schrijver een boek gemaakt heeft die de gedachtes en gedachte hang van een persoon omschrijft. Hierbij betrekt hij ook het geweten van de personages. Deze wordt dan gebruikt voor de al dan niet goede oplossing te nemen.Achter elke gebeurtenis hoe eenvoudig ook zit wel een diepere gedachtegang. Zoals de personages elk personage leer je beter kennen naarmate je verder in het verhaal komt. Hierdoor kan de schrijver de spanning opbouwen. Zo kan je dan de gebeurtenissen koppelen aan de verschillende gebeurtenissen. Een andere manier waarop de schrijver spanning opgewekt heeft was het verhaal, dit was niet te beknopt maar ook niet te uitgebreid. Het einde is ook sterk afgewerkt. Het einde is dan ook vrij plots waardoor ik met vragen blijf zitten. Je kan daarna nog een vervolg bedenken op het boek.Het verhaal is denk ik uit twee verschillende verhaallijnen opgebouwd maar deze vinden naar het einde van het verhaal een samenloop. Er vinden ook veel flashbacks en flashforwards in waardoor het verhaal niet chronologisch is. Deze zijn niet echt verwarrend waardoor je in het verhaal blijft en wilt verder lezen.
Ik denk dat de titel verwijst naar de nachtmerrie dat Saskia had over een bepaald gouden ei en dat is wel goed gevonden.Het boek vond ik misschien wel wat kort waardoor je dus minder spanning kunt opbouwen.Het boek is wel een echte aanrader voor mensen die niet graag lezen maar toch een kort spannend boek willen lezen.
Het gouden Ei is een vlot geschreven boek in de typische stijl van Tim Krabbé. Er wordt klare en duidelijke taal gebruikt waardoor deze spannende misdaadroman vlot leest.Het boek gaat over Rex Hofman en Saskia Elhvest een koppeltje dat onderweg is naar hun vakantiehuis in het zuiden van Frankrijk. Wanneer er getankt dient te worden, verdwijnt Saskia plots. Een ganse zoektocht levert helaas niets op.Het verhaal gaat verder - acht jaar later - wanneer Rex met Lieneke, zijn nieuwe vriendin op reis is. Er wordt nog vaak over Saskia gepraat maar niemand weet waar ze is, ze is precies van de aardbol verdwenen. Rex besluit toch nog om verder te zoeken en plaatst een advertentie.Op een dag staat er een Fransman, Raymond Lemorne, voor de deur bij Rex en die beweert te weten waar Saskia is. Rex krijgt te horen dat Saskia dood is en als hij wil weten hoe dit gebeurd is, moet hij met Raymond meegaan. Lemorne blijkt een psychisch zieke scheikundeleraar te zijn die de ontvoerder en de moordenaar is van Saskia en van ook nog heel wat andere mannen en vrouwen. Rex wordt net zoals Saskia in slaap gedaan en wordt levend begraven.Niemand hoort nog iets van Rex en net zoals Saskia is hij van de aardbol verdwenen. De zaak wordt nooit opgelost.De twee belangrijkste personages zijn Rex en Raymond Lemorne.Rex is een vriendelijke man die altijd voor een ander klaar staat. Hij is ook een doorzetter en wil weten wat er met Saskia gebeurd is. Hij gaat hiervoor tot het uiterste en het wordt zijn dood.Lemorne is een 41-jarige scheikundeleraar die in een middelbare school werkt en een gezin heeft. Hij is het tegenovergestelde van Rex: hij denkt niet aan de anderen en hij houdt ervan mensen pijn te zien hebben of pijn te doen.
Persoonlijk vind ik het boek niet echt leuk om te lezen want ik vond het moeilijk om te volgen. Ook deels omdat het af en toe verandert van plaats in de tijd. En van perspectief, maar het is wel een aanrader voor het verhaal, het is wel wat ingewikkeld maar wel spannend.De titel van het boek word vroeg uitgelegd, het is een nachtmerrie die Saskia beleeft, hierin droomt ze dat ze opgesloten zit in een gouden ei dat door het heelal vliegt. In het heelal is niets te zien, Saskia moest dus alleen blijven tot ze stierf.In het begin is Het ingewikkeld om te kunnen volgen, omdat je niet weet hoe de personages heten en waarover het verhaal gaat, maar ook omdat het niet chronologisch is geschreven. Bij het begin leek het om over een roman te gaan, maar na een tijdje werd het wel duidelijk dat het spannend begon te worden. Dit komt doordat de schrijver vragen begon te stellen bij de personages (bijv.: Wat is er met Saskia gebeurt? Hoe is ze ontvoerd?...).Het verhaal gaat over een jongen genaamd Rex die aan een TOTAL tankstation zijn vriendinnetje Saskia verliest, en na 8 jaar (als hij op het punt staat om te trouwen met het nieuwe vriendinnetje Lieneke) beslist hij om uit te zoeken wat er met Saskia is gebeurd.qua vertelperspectieven gebruikt hij er eentje, maar hiervan wel twee perspectieven. Hij blijft hoofdzakelijk bij het hoofdpersonage (Rex) maar ineens krijgen een perspectief van Raymond Lemorne (de moordenaar), die een normaal leven lijdt maar met een drang voor moord.Naar het einde toe ontmoeten Raymond en Rex elkaar, Raymond herkent Rex en wil hem alles over die avond vertellen alleen als hij hetzelfde lot ondergaat. Ook al ziet hij Lieneke dan nooit meer terug toch beslist Rex om dit lot te ondergaan en uiteindelijk dan samen te zijn met Saskia.
Het gouden ei is een boek dat zeer vlot leest en je als je wilt op een dag kunt uitlezen. Dit komt omdat het een verhaal is dat maar uit honderd bladzijden bestaat en maar uit vijf verschillende hoofdstukken. Hierdoor krijg je al direct goede moed om het verhaal te beginnen lezen, wanneer je een persoon bent die niet veel of graag boeken leest.Toen ik het boek voor het eerst zag, zag het er maar een saai verhaal uit. je zag dat het een oud boek was en ook de kaft van het boek is gewoon zwart met enkel maar de titel er op gedrukt. De titel "het gouden ei" vind ik persoonlijk een titel dat de lezer niet echt aanspreekt. Na het eerste hoofdstuk gelezen te hebben merkte ik dat ik er totaal naast zat en het boek nog tot een mooi verhaal kon uitdraaien.Het begin van het boek vond ik persoonlijk wat saai, maar dit heb ik meestal wanneer ik een boek lees. Het is ingewikkeld om mee te zijn omdat je niet weet waar het boek precies over gaat en hoe de personages heten en wie ze precies zijn. Op het einde van hoofdstuk 1 dacht ik dat het om een liefdesverhaal ging, over een verliefd koppel. Een jongen, Rex die op zoek gaat naar zijn verdwenen vriendin, Saskia. Maar vanaf het derde hoofdstuk merkte ik dat het om een thriller ging. Het leuke aan hoofdstuk 3 vond ik dat je het verhaal door de ogen van een moordenaar kon volgen. je ziet dat hij een normaal leven lijdt en toch een drang heeft om iemand te vermoorden. Ook de manier hoe hij alles plant en inoefent om een willekeurig meisje te ontvoeren is leuk om te lezen.Het verhaal wordt verteld door een vertellerperspectief en speelt zich groot en deels af in een tankstation van Total. Dit is de plaats waar Saskia plotseling verdwijnt en waar Rex na haar verdwijning ook nog een paar keer naar terugkeert om iets meer te weten te kunnen komen over haar verdwijning. De schrijver zorgt voor spanningen in het boek door met tijdsprongen te werken bij hoofdstuk 1 en 3 (in hoofdstuk 3 heeft Rex plots een andere vriendin). Ook het veranderen van het hoofdpersonage in het hoofdstuk zorgt voor spanning.Het boek is een echte aanrader voor mensen die niet graag dikke boeken leze. het is een klein en makkelijk te lezen boek.
'Het gouden ei' is een leuk boek om te lezen, de titel zelf vind ik niet zo goed passen bij het boek. Het is alsof de schrijver, Tim Krabbé geen gepaste titel kon bedenken en er daarom het waanidee van 'de droom van het gouden ei' in heeft gestoken. Op zich wel een een leuk boek maar met een verwarrende en interessante structuur. Hiermee bedoel ik dat hij bij wijze van spreken van de hak op de tak springt om zo de spanning op te bouwen. Wat ik persoonlijk nogal verwarrend vind tijdens het lezen. Persoonlijk verkies ik boeken waarbij de vertelde tijd korter is dan de verteltijd, wat in tegenstelling is tot dit boek. Waar er over een simpel moment 5 pagina's wordt geschreven bij wijze van spreken. Wat ik wel positief vind is dat door zijn opbouwende structuur je het volledige boek moet gelezen hebben om het volledige verhaal te begrijpen. Ook lijkt het alsof het boek te kort zou geweest zijn en er daardoor achteraf het deel met Lieneke is bijgevoegd. Want dit deel heeft in principe niets te maken met het hoofdverhaal. Al bij al een paar minpuntjes maar toch een vlot, leuk boek.
Ik las het boek 'Het gouden ei'. Dit boek is een echte aanrader voor mensen die houden van een boek die niet erg lang is en vol spanning en avontuur zit. Het boek bouwde een spanning op gedurende het hele verhaal. Het bestaat uit verschillende hoofdstukken. Dit zijn er vijf in totaal. Door in elk hoofdstuk de gebeurtenissen een onverwachte wending te geven wil je direct verder lezen.De auteur geeft de personages specifieke kenmerken mee. Dit kan je merken bij Saskia. Dit is het eerste vriendinnetje van Rex. Ze wordt omschreven door het meisje met het rode haar en de sproeten.Alsook laat de auteur 'de ruimte' een invloed op het verhaal maken. Wanneer hij de beschrijving geeft van het huisje die al jaren te koop staat krijg je direct het gevoel dat het huisje verlaten staat.Het verhaal wisselt elk hoofdstuk van perspectief. In het begin van het hoofdstuk is het moeilijk om mee te zijn met het verhaal doordat er tijdsprongen zijn en omdat je dus niet direct weet over wat het hoofdstuk zal gaan. Je moet eerst een eindje verder lezen, maar na enkele pagina's heb je wel door over wat het gaat. Het verhaal wordt namelijk vanuit twee perspectieven verteld. In het laatste en voorlaatste hoofdstuk komen deze perspectieven samen. Er wordt niet onmiddelijk duidelijk gemaakt wat de oorzaak van de verdwijning is. De spanning wordt dus opgebouwd tot aan het einde van het verhaal. Dit is de reden waarom je het boek tot aan het einde wil uitlezen. De auteur wil een zekere nieuwsgierigheid opwekken in het verhaal. Op elk einde van het hoofdstuk is het super spannend, en dan begint er direct een nieuw hoofdstuk, waardoor je terug uitkijkt naar wat er zal gebeuren. Het is een boekje die vlot leest. Ikzelf lees normaal niet zo graag, maar dit boek raad ik zeker aan. 2b1af7f3a8
