you play around this secret the same way you play around reckoning, which is only seeing play sometimes as a one of, cant see this making paladin any better, maybe it replaces that one copy of reckoning but thats all it will do
Pretty strong effect. Glad to see paladin secrets getting a little stronger. Not sure this one slots into the same aggressive package as Oh My Yogg!, but It's definitely a lot more powerful than any anti-minion secret paladin has had before.
All the aggro player tears that were made with this card it made paladin into a bad match up if drawn early ah i hope paladin gets a tool like this to fuck over aggro again... but more towards control... the day i die is if they are stupid enough to make a mana wyrm but for recruits ... what am i saying Trogg is a thing so eventually it will happen
AAAND found the aggro player or secret paladin hater one beats the other it is paladins only good response to aggro you coin this out they cant play juggle and let RNG kill you if this wasn't introduced paladin as a class wouldn't be a thing
Autodefense Matrix is triggered when one of the Paladin's minions isattacked, giving the attacked minion Divine Shield. This secret is similar toNoble Sacrifice, but it is a stronger choice if your opponent attacksone of your minions with 3 or more attack. It is also better in combinationwith Redemption, as it will not resurrect the 2/1 minion made byNoble Sacrifice.
Hidden Wisdom is the only Paladin secret that is triggered by playingmore than 2 cards in a single turn. Hidden Wisdom does not interact with theboard at all, so it is typically not played in aggressive Paladin decks.
Getting a Secret from your deck means you cannot control which one, which is the most important aspect of Paladin secrets since you usually want a specific outcome (although you could make the argument that Avenge and Reckoning are both independently useful).
Still not sold on Secret Paladin. That deck already had better support than currently available and still saw no play. Maybe we get a really good secret that allows for a secret package in a different deck, but other than that this is filler.
Well this will be annoying. If secret paladin is good (which at this point I think is very possible) then this will likely be a must have. Casting three secrets and getting to ping minions or face while you are at it is pretty nuts.
Seems like a really great card - kind of "2 mana draw 3". The damage output of Sword of the Fallen is appropriately weak, and all of the secret payoff/synergy cards you'd run with this only care about having secrets in play, not having cast them from hand like Secretkeeper did. That should make it highly playable without being oppressive (since it's a very weak top deck in the late game).
AMAZING secret paladin card. It's effectively paladins version Phase Stalker, and it's finally some good Secret paladin support. Most neutral secret support cards like Mad Scientist and Inconspicuous Rider are not worth it in Paladin because the paladin secrets are very cheap. Like with the formentioned cards you lose more mana playing them, than when you just play the secret alone. But with Sword of the Fallen you cast secrets from your deck (Which tins out your deck, which is super strong.) AND it cheats out 1 additional secret for it's cost.
Secret paladin will still have a problem though, and that's a lack of good secrets. Avenge and Oh My Yogg! are the best secrets in standard after rotation, and good secret paladin support is rotating out. So for Secret paladin to become a viable deck i'm certain were going to see more paladin secrets revealed soon, AND maybe an Desperate Measures, Secret Plan/Mystery Winner reprint? Would be nice.
yeah sure bc tech cards are ALWAYS a good idea. lemme just use half of my deck to try to counter one oppressive deck, only to get my minion removed by an objection. this is such a dumb reply and completely misses the point made here - secret mage is an abnormally oppressive deck that is highly favored in any midrange to control matchup and because blizzard refuses to nerf it and decides to buff the archetype every year, it can do just about anything to ruin your game experience.
3 minions that discount a secret to 0, the 2/2 that puts a secret in play from the deck + the spell. 2 minions that deal good damage to board or face when there is a secret in play (3&6) damage. 2 minions that does AOE damage, 1 of which also hits face.
Like I mentioned earlier, the deck list is pretty specific because the deck revolves around playing secrets and the cards that are affected by them. That being said, there are a few cards you can swap in until you get the stuff you need.
If you have him, he should take the place of Ragnaros. He is the main Legendary you want for this deck. One of the biggest weakness of Antonidas is the fact that he immediately gets removed. This becomes less of an issue when you back him up with a secret which you cannot do with Ragnaros (on the same turn).
Without netdecking to the point of plagiarism or crafting and especially not dusting anything, I want to be able to share my collection to let all you people that seem to have 0 problems reaching an ungodly high number of wins in a run (that's more than 1 lol) have a crack at helping me form a deck. The only heroes I tend to get higher results with are the ones that benefit or deal in divine shield shenanigans or windfury or both. That murloc that gives divine shield + windfury and overloads by 1, the paladin with revive power, Vann (only sometimes) with the random power with +1/+1. The only outlier Ive had good runs with is drekthar with the 1 dmage to all minions power, and going heavy with the frenzy/while damaged/takes damage minions and hoping my passive is the ground is lava where it summons minions automatically taking 1 damage and giving them a buff to attack. I think 5 wins is the most ive gotten out of him. 2b1af7f3a8
