Hence this study can be use for the welfare of education of the students and it is consistent with the vision of the Ministry of Education to promote the critical reading skill in the students. The recommendation of this study can be reported to the Ministry of Education to be implemented as a part of the national curriculum. The findings of this study will be used in the school management to produce the strategy and the related plan of the implementation of the ReadMe apps critical reading skill learning.
The researcher found that the pre university students had positive attitude towards the ReadMe apps. However, the findings revealed that the attitude of the respondents were variable and some have a negative attitude towards the ReadMe apps. This study revealed the variable attitude towards the ReadMe apps are due to the variation in the use of the apps and the self-efficacy. There is positive attitude towards the ReadMe apps, with majority of the respondents (90.9%) have high self-efficacy to use the ReadMe apps in practising critical reading skills. However, the respondents (9.1%) with the low self-efficacy were less willing to use the ReadMe apps in critical reading skill learning.
