I know this because BeadCreator helpfully highlights how much the beads might cost when making the pattern. I reduced the number of colours down to just 58 and I was able to reduce the potential cost of beads without affecting the quality of the pattern too much.
Interesting blog. I came across it because, having recently purchased the program I am having great problems trying to understand how it will do what I want it to do and so googled for help. Firstly, I could not register the program because it would not accept my telephone number. I emailed them to ask why and they registered it for me, which is great but still does not explain why, when they are selling the program world wide, the forms requires a particular type of number on the registration form. Now I am trying to use the blank canvas but can make no sens of the manual on how to select the palette colours I want. The help manual has obviously been written by a computer programmer and not with the help of a beader. I was not sent any tutorials to learn how to use the program, so it was interesting to read that you were. I will battle on, having already spent the money, but at the moment there is no joy, only frustration!
hello Hayley, I love your information about the bead designs and I am a new to this. I wanted to designs my own patterns, I am very interested to buy the software, but wanted to know besides bead tool and bead creator is any other software that I can buy.
Very useful program for bead crafting but the support is negligible at best. Prefabricated responses that do not pertain to relevant questions are standard procedure. If you need to upgrade to a new computer or crash one needing an operating system reinstall, Beadtool support will not help you to reactivate the registered program once your limit of two computers has been reached at any past point in time, even if those computers are not active any more. There is no deactivation to enable use of the license on a new computer. These statement are form personal experience. This is an issue I feel needs serious deliberation before purchase.
Beware of release 4.9.2 of bead tool 4. This release strips leading and ending blanks from a row. The word charts are not correct. Having big problem with tubular peyote. Step up point incorrect. Chris and I have exchanged several emails and this was his last response:
Could any one help with a problem I am having when beading tubular peyote in Beadtool4. I create the pattern and it looks great, I make sure I click on the pattern and start bead. I am using the bead legend when beading and my pattern is on a slant, rather than straight up and down. Any suggestions of what I am doing wrong?
I have used bead tool for about 7 years maybe more, off and on and have used it to create some really large counted cross stitch patterns. I have never bothered to update the version i have and have not really asked the developer for help, except perhaps many years ago when i reinstalled the program on a new computer. I can not relate to those complaints but I can probably help individuals out if they have simpler non coding issues and installation issues. I dont know this person but have two programmer sons and i recognize the agony of learning this stuff as well as the agony of having to answer the same questions hundreds of times. LOL, i am kind of in the middle. When you do your video Hayley, maybe a lesson on how to make round patterns with different size beads (presumably a function of pixel ratio in the pattern set up? which i have not figured out.
A variety of techniques to detect CTCs in peripheral blood have been available for a number of years, based on immunomagnetic bead separation, filtration based size separation, antigens cell sorting using flow cytometry and density gradient centrifugation (10). However, these methods have been hard to reproduce across laboratories, making data comparison difficult. Recently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved the CellSearch® System (Veridex LLC, Raritan, NJ), to predict progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) in patients with metastatic breast (11), colorectal (12), gastric (13), prostate (14), small cell lung (SCLC) (15,16) and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (17). This has facilitated a more reliable and reproducible CTC counting across multiple sites and the CellSearch® System is currently considered the standard method for detecting CTCs in the clinical setting. In this platform, magnetic beads coated with epithelial cell-adhesion molecule (EpCAM) antibody are used to isolate CTCs from the background of billions of peripheral white blood cells. With this system it is possible to reproducibly find a single circulating tumor cell in a 7.5 mL blood sample. In most studies, values of 2 to 5 CTCs per 7.5 mL blood have been reported to be the optimal cutoff value discriminating poor prognosis.
In our hands, the number of CTC-positive patients remained high (again, more than 80%) when blood samples were taken immediately after surgery, but it dramatically dropped to 13% in patients responding to chemotherapy or TKIs. In patients relapsing, it raised again to 57%. A decrease in the number of CTCs in serial blood samples have been described in advanced NSCLC after partial or complete response to therapies, and it was associated with a with positron emission tomographic (FDG-PET) and RECIST responses, and longer progression-free survival (26,27).
In order to better assist exporters in providing more accurate trade statistics and filers in determining their correct export commodity code (Schedule B number), International Trade provides a Schedule B Commodity Search Tool. This search tool provides a smarter, more intuitive, and more accurate way to classify products. It understands and interprets common commercial product information, and interacts intelligently and intuitively with users to eliminate classification complexity. The search tool has cut down on the time it takes to classify products and provide more accurate and consistent results that ultimately improves the quality of trade statistics.
All serial numbers start with digits 20, while the third digit indicates Corps Area or Service Command (i.e. the area of Induction). The War Department allotted following blocks to members of National Guard units inducted into Federal Service.
All serial numbers start with digit 3, followed by the second digit indicating Corps Area or Service Command. The War Department allotted following blocks for Trainees or Draftees inducted under the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940:
